Riyaal brings a wealth of knowledge to the Advisory department after being a field scientist for many years. He is always first to put his hand up for the odd jobs and to go the extra mile for his teammates.

BSc: Chemical Engineering & LLM

Cait is a superb chemical engineer! She is incredibly bright and her work is flawlessly accurate. Cait heads up our Advisory department with her extensive knowledge of the legislation and solutions to improve air quality.

Sanjana’s knowledge of chemical engineering aids in her excellent work in air quality consulting. When she’s not mulling over calculations, she enjoys cooking and baking for her friends and family.

Matt is a bright problem solver and possesses beautiful leadership abilities. He has worked across the business and understands many South African process industries intimately.It is a privilege to have Matt in our team.

BEng: Chemical Engineering

Denham is fastidious and hard working. Supporting Riyaal in helping our clients meet their greenhouse gas submission and carbon tax deadlines, we are thankful to have him in the team! His previous work on the mines has equipped him with superb knowledge.

Kutloano’s quiet disposition belies her immense intellect and fortitude. She has overcome the odds to get to where she is today, and we are proud of her. Kutloano supports Sakie in NAEIS submissions and serves our clients in her lovely gentle way.

MSc: Chemistry

Aphiwe’s enigmatic nature and productive work ethic ensure that our internal Yellow Tree laboratory operates efficiently and at the highest accuracy. We are delighted to have Aphiwe in our precious team.

BSc: Mechanical Engineering

Sherri’s extensive knowledge spanning chemical and mechanical engineering means she is uniquely positioned to lead our team of engineers. She does so with grace, understanding and compassion, while getting the job done to the highest level of quality.

Bevan has grown in leaps and bounds since joining our team. From field scientist to equipment technician, he is always willing to step up when needed, especially to help out a teammate.

Sonali joined us in the report writing department and has done well to keep up with the demands of data processing. When she’s not sifting through numbers, she’s a passionate foodie who never eats at the same restaurant twice.

AdvDip: Chemical Engineering

Athandile is a steady and consistent scientist who is always happy to serve, and is working his way up the business through applying himself. He runs the internal lab and manages external laboratories in SA and the UK.

Ray is effervescently joyful. His excellent communication skills, warmth and professionalism make him a Yellow Tree ambassador of whom we are very proud. They say that one should lead with the heart of a servant, and serve with the heart of a king. That is Ray!

Matt is one of our most experienced Stack Scientists. With a wealth of knowledge spanning the sampling of all emissions from particulate matter through to dioxins and furans, Matt is our guy! We love his confidence and bold leadership!

Mandisi is a humble, hard-working, and smart young man. He is the most teachable person we’ve ever known, with an insatiable appetite for knowledge. As a young scientist and equipment technician-in-the-making, his future is blindingly bright.

Xolani’s tenacious spirit means no problem is too challenging for him. He takes great pride in the accuracy and orderliness of his work. We’re proud of the way he has stepped up to lead the Johannesburg team with compassion and confidence.

Monique is a strong, kind and authoritative leader who serves those around her sacrificially. She is resilient and we are blessed to have her caring for our people and stewarding our finances.

BTech: Surface Design

Weyers is genuine, kind, authoritative – and a perfectionist in his work. He leads our team with care, and oversees the business on a daily basis. We sit confidently under his thoughtful leadership, as he guides our team to wholehearted client service.

Claire is friendly, dependable, and wonderfully organised. She runs the administration at Yellow Tree with seamless efficiency and brings joy and warmth to all those who engage with her.

Nkosi is a man of integrity and humility. He is the caretaker of our JHB premises and has faithfully been on the property since 2006. His nickname is “Smartie” because he knows all there is to know about gardening & maintenance. It is a privilege to have him on our team.

Kodi has an immaculte work ethic, and both his initiative and his drive enable him to be a driving force in our business. His wonderful team spirit and lovely smile make him a pleasure to deal with.
